Really Conscious Group ("RCG", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information we collect. This policy describes how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry through our website, we collect the information you provide: your name, role, organisation, email address, industry, revenue band, the question you've described, and how you heard about us. We do not collect any additional information from you without your knowledge.
When you browse our site, we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not set tracking cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track visitors across other websites. Aggregated page-view data includes country-level location, the page visited, the referrer, the device type, and the browser. This information cannot be used to identify individual visitors.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other tracking infrastructure by default. If we introduce additional analytics in future, this policy will be updated and existing visitors will not be retroactively tracked.
How we use your information
We use information you provide through enquiries only to respond to your enquiry, assess fit for an engagement, and — if relevant — to initiate a working relationship. We do not sell your information, share it with third parties for marketing purposes, or add you to any marketing list without your explicit consent.
If you subscribe to updates via the site bar, we use your email address to send you new essays and occasional updates. You can unsubscribe at any time. The list is not shared with third parties.
How we store your information
Enquiry information is stored in systems that enforce access controls and encryption at rest. Access is limited to Thomas Green and members of the RCG team who need the information to respond to your enquiry. We retain enquiry information only as long as necessary to respond to or progress your enquiry, and for a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to correct information you believe is inaccurate, and to request deletion of your information subject to our legal obligations to retain it. To exercise any of these rights, email thomas@rcg.team with the subject line "Privacy request".
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us at thomas@rcg.team in the first instance. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the most recent update. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers where practical.
